Why I built it
Property search in Ashgabat lived in chat groups and word of mouth. DomBazaar gives it structure.
There was no structured way to search property in Turkmenistan: no filters, no comparable prices, no photo standards. DomBazaar starts with the basics done properly. Listings are reviewed for clear photos, clear prices and availability before anyone browses them, search works by district, type and rooms, and the whole product ships in Turkmen, Russian and English.
Production & execution
A production marketplace shipped solo: search, listings, auth, admin, transactional email and push.
Built on Next.js and Firebase with Cloudinary for listing images and Resend for transactional email, and installable as a PWA with push notifications. The CRM discipline carries over: lifecycle messaging is designed in from day one, releases run through a staging checklist, and quality gates protect the listing supply as it grows.
Outcome
A live, installable marketplace that replaces scattered browsing with structured search across three languages.
The production product gives renters, buyers, landlords and agents one searchable inventory with consistent listing standards. It combines the customer-facing marketplace with the operational systems needed to review supply, manage access and keep users informed.
